Theme Update

Please note that customizations made via Theme Options and website content are stored in the database so that you won’t lose anything on theme updates. You will only lose changes if you modify the code files of the theme. Best practice & important notes: Create a backup: whenever you update, it’s always a good idea to make sure that you have a current backup of your website and database. There are several plugins available that completely automate that process. You can also ask your host to perform a free backup for you. Save Theme Options: go to Gonowo – Import / Export (Download Json); these settings shouldn’t be touched by the update, but it’s recommended you keep a backup. Clear cache: it’s always recommended to clear your browser cache, server cache, or optimization plugins after the update to avoid any visual issues. Automatic Updates In the WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes. Under the Themes section, click Update Now Manual Update From WordPress admin: Download the latest version of the theme from your Templatemonster account. Go to Appearance – Themes and upload theme_name.zip; confirm the update. Update required plugins (if prompted) Using FTP Remove the theme folder from wp-content/themes/ and upload it again Go to your WordPress admin – Themes and check if the theme version is updated Important: After updating the theme, ensure you update the required plugins. This should come up as a prompt right after the update.

Theme Licensing

Billing, licensing terms, and process are handled exclusively by Templatemonster, and we have no control over these aspects. The support package does not limit theme updates or plugins, it is only needed to submit a ticket on our support forum or email dangyengiaothong@gmail.com There are two types of theme licenses you can purchase from Envato: Regular license and Extended license: In your WordPress admin, go to Restaurant – Add New Restaurant : Regular license Allows you to use the theme for one domain only. A domain is considered only the top-level domain, and you can use the regular license on multiple subdomains of that domain. For example, if you use the theme for www.mysite.com: www.mysite.com – Validstaging.mysite.com – Validmysite.com/staging – Validwhatever.mysite.com/directory – Validlocalhost – Validabc.com – New license is requiredstaging.abc.com – New license is required123.123.123.123 – New license is required Important: One license is valid for one domain only. If you want to use the theme on another domain, you have to purchase another license. Extended license Allows you to activate the theme on any domain and local/staging environment.
